Library Profile

Overview

The Library Profile presents selected national and state level data from Public Libraries and the Internet surveys and National Center for Educational Statistics. The goal of this profile generator is to provide users information specific to their local library that describes the library’s connectivity capability and other activities relative to the networked environment.

The data cover a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to, Internet connectivity and access, library collection, services, community impacts, and training programs. The EDMS system saves reports created from the profile generator for access in future login sessions. Reports can be presented in either PDF or Microsoft WORD format. The EDMS also provides a complete downloadable or printable list of questions and key terms used in the collection of the data.
